What we’ve been up to – plus WordCamp 2016
Phew, it’s been a busy 2016 – so much so that our blog has tended to get neglected. That’s all set to change in the next few months with an exciting new project due to launch but mum’s the word until then. Here’s a round up of what’s been happening over the last 6 months.
WooCommerce 2.2 Feature – Automatic Refunds
The latest version of WooCommerce, version 2.2 mostly changed things under the hood – feature-wise there wasn’t a whole lot added. One interesting new addition though is the option to provide automatic refunds.
WordPress 4.0 is released. Captiva customers are ok to update
WordPress 4.0 was released a short while ago. After extensive testing on our development servers we’re glad to be able to confirm that CommerceGurus customers who have purchased our Captiva WooCommerce theme can safely upgrade to WordPress 4.0.
WordPress 4.0 ‘Benny’ (named after the king of swing Benny Goodman) hits the streets today after 6 months of intensive development. Many feel it’s an underwhelming release. I disagree. I think it’s clearly a very focused release in terms of new feature additions. Sarah over at the tavern does a great job introducing the new stuff.
